It happened to me recently. A guy where I work was always telling jokes, it was in his his nature, but he did have a serious side - which I found out at a later time. One day when I came to work, he said, "Oh, hello Rachel, I didn't recognise you with your clothes on!" I was sort of shocked, but it made me laugh too, even though I got some strange looks from the other members of staff. I'm saying no more, except it works like a charm!
